How frustrating it is for people like me… New bloggers and tweeters. It’s frustrating because when one starts out in this new realm of communication strategies, it feels as if the world has left one behind and moved on to a whole new dimension. Lonely is this place.
As I attempt to twit and blog, I get the feeling that I might not be able to find that niche, that thing that could get this big ball rolling. And what if I can’t? It should be obvious to all who read my attempt that I am not a writer. Nor am I a brainiac. I am simply someone trying desperately to fit in (so to speak). Fitting in is harder now than it was in the years where I thought that it mattered the most (my teenage years). Now, if I don’t somehow fit in I will definitely be left behind! Technology is so much connected to finances and vice versa. We will all need to be knowlegeable about both in order to survive or we will have a much bigger problem (bigger that fitting in) on our hands.
I am so frustrated because of all the work it takes for someone like me to grasp the concepts involved in both twittering and blogging. However, I will continue until I am confident in my skills… I won’t give up!
Tell me, though. Am I alone? Does anyone else feel my pain? I ask because from where I am… It feels kinda lonely.

Hey,
Just write and twitter your heart. It is alot of fun and you will find an audience and a niche. I assure you it will take a little time, but writing and expressing yourself this way is awesome.
God bless and Happy Writing

As time goes on and I get around the internet world and learn more terminology, it gets easier to understand things. But, I wonder what others who are in the same situation are thinking…

You are so, so right. And I thank you for such a thoughtful response. You seem to understand that if a person doesn’t regularly use something that they are unfamiliar with, then they don’t quite get the jist of it. When others take the time to help those who are less knowledgeable about it, if is easier to develop useful skills. Thanks for the encouragement.

These are things that allow our society to move. Before TV there was radio. Then came color TV and the remote control. Microwaves, car phones, beepers, cell phones etc. Now we have this great thing call internet, which is not only on our computers but, we have access to the internet on our cell phones. How many complained about that? We live in a society were some of the things we look at as needs are truly wants. We can’t live without them. To some degree we’ve complained when these devises became available for us. We complained about some, if not all however, we eventually became accustumed. Its just another part of the our growth, that will continue to move our society.

While growth is definitely a necessity, the thought of change can be rather scary for the contented heart. We sometimes tend to fear those things that we are unfamiliar with, especially if those things have not be explained to us by those who may be patient enough to do so. Those who are impatient with us only aggrevate our fears. I don’t know if you can recall, but there were many who were reluctant to introduce the TV into their homes. All did not readily accept this unfamiliar device into the environment in which their loved ones resided. The same can be said of the microwave, the car phone or cell phone and beeper.
When something is new or unfamiliar, most times it is rejected by the masses before it is accepted by them. It is only as the item or device is gradually explained, taught or learned that it is welcomed.
